RESTAURANT AT THE ALLERFORD

Good food.
Properly done.

Relaxed dining, generous plates and a warm Somerset welcome – whether you’re joining us for dinner, drinks or our famous Sunday carvery.

FOOD AT THE ALLERFORD

Familiar favourites.
Done really well.

We’re not interested in making food complicated for the sake of it.

The Allerford is about quality ingredients, proper cooking and generous plates – food you genuinely look forward to eating, served without any unnecessary fuss.

Come hungry. We’ll take care of the rest.

LUNCH

Take your time.

Whether it’s a catch-up, a family lunch or simply an excuse not to cook, settle in and let us do the work.

DINNER

Make an evening of it.

Good food, a decent drink and nowhere you need to rush off to afterwards. Sounds about right to us.

FAMILIES

Everyone’s invited.

Family meals should feel easy. Good food, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty for everyone to enjoy.

THE ALLERFORD SUNDAY CARVERY

Sundays are
made for this.

Three beautifully cooked meats. Properly crisp roast potatoes. Homemade Yorkshire puddings. Mountains of seasonal vegetables. All the trimmings. All the sauces. And, of course, plenty of rich gravy.

Our famous Sunday carvery is everything you want from a proper Sunday roast – generous portions and loads of choice.

Build your plate exactly as you’d like it – and as high as you’d like it – pour over the gravy, head back to your table and settle in. And if you’ve somehow still got room afterwards, our servers will bring you a dessert menu to drool over.

Come hungry. Sundays at The Allerford are taken seriously.

Booking in advance for Sunday carvery is highly recommended.

THREE ROAST MEATS · CRISP ROASTIES · HOMEMADE YORKSHIRES · MOUNTAINS OF VEG · SELECTION OF SAUCES · PLENTY OF GRAVY

THE BAR

Stay for another.

You don’t need a dinner reservation to enjoy The Allerford.

Meet friends for a drink, settle in before dinner or stay a little longer afterwards. The bar is part of the place, not an afterthought.

Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and coffee – whatever the occasion calls for.

NO OCCASION REQUIRED

Thursday is a
perfectly good reason.

Not everything needs to be a celebration. Sometimes you just want someone else to cook.

The Allerford is here for birthdays and anniversaries, obviously – but also quick lunches, spontaneous dinners and those evenings where staying home feels deeply overrated.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you visit.

Do I need to book?
