At The Allerford, we want couples to have room to make the day their own – whether that means keeping things beautifully simple, filling the place with your favourite people or doing something nobody has suggested to us before.
The important bit is that when you walk in on the morning of your wedding, it feels like your day.

From the ceremony through to dinner, drinks and the dance floor, The Allerford gives you different spaces to shape around the kind of wedding you actually want.
Use the spaces differently throughout the day, head outside for photographs and drinks, then bring everyone back together when it’s time to eat, celebrate and eventually find the dance floor.
We’ll help you work out how your day flows rather than handing you somebody else’s timetable and telling you where to stand.

Our ceremonies are celebrant-led, giving you the freedom to create something personal, relaxed and genuinely meaningful – with your own words, style and fewer rules around how your ceremony should look or feel.
THE FOOD
Feed people properly.
Great wedding food, plenty of choice and options built around the kind of celebration you’re planning rather than a one-size-fits-all menu.
THE PARTY
Then make a night of it.
First dances, full dance floor, your DJ or band playing great music and everyone you love in the room. When dinner is done and the speeches are over, The Allerford is ready for the evening to properly begin.

Can we have our ceremony at The Allerford?
Absolutely. We offer celebrant-led ceremonies at The Allerford and can recommend some wonderful celebrants to you, giving you the freedom to create something personal to you – from your vows and readings to the way the ceremony itself flows.
Celebrant-led ceremonies aren’t legally binding, so you’ll need to complete the legal formalities separately at a registry office. Then you can save the personal bit – surrounded by all your favourite people for your day at The Allerford. Don’t worry, we can talk you through exactly how that works!
Is The Allerford exclusive use?
We do offer exclusive use packages and can discuss this at our consultation. The Allerford is a restaurant and events venue rather than a traditional exclusive-use country house. We’ll be completely clear about which spaces are yours and how the venue works around your wedding.
Can we choose our own suppliers?
Of course! While we do have a list of recommended suppliers that we trust fully to give a fantastic experience, we want couples to have flexibility. There may be a few practical requirements depending on what you’re planning, but we’re not interested in forcing you into a huge compulsory supplier list.
Can we come and look around?
Absolutely. In fact, we’d much rather you did. Come and see the spaces, talk through your ideas and work out whether The Allerford feels right for you.
Where can we find your wedding pricing?
